Roles & Responsibilities
  1. Liaises with other senior staff to determine the range of goods or services to be sold, contributes to the development of sales strategies and setting of sales targets; 
  2. Discusses employers’ or client’s requirements, carries out surveys and analyses customers’ reactions to product, packaging, price, etc.
  3. Compiles and analyses sales figures, prepares proposals for marketing campaigns and promotional activities and undertakes market research;
  4. Handles customer accounts;
  5. Recruits and trains junior sales staff;
  6. Produces reports and recommendations concerning marketing and sales strategies for senior management; 
  7. Keeps up to date with products and competitors.

Other responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base in the Edutech industry 
  2. Supervise and manage a sales team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure success and high performance.
  3. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty. 
  4. Identify and pursue new business opportunities by conducting market research and utilizing your knowledge of the Edutech sector
  5. Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to enhance sales efforts and ensure the delivery of top-quality products and services
  6. Prepare and deliver engaging and persuasive sales presentations, tailored to the needs and objectives of prospective clients.
  7. Utilize CRM systems to manage and maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline development.
  8. Analyze sales data and market trends to inform strategy adjustments and forecast future performance.
  9. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales performance, customer feedback, and industry developments. 
 
Gross Salary £36,000 per annum
Qualification Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
Experience Needed
  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  2.  A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or customer relations management, preferably within the Edutech industry.
  3. Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and managing successful sales teams.
  4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels
  5. Solid understanding of the Edutech market and the unique needs of clients in the sector.
  6. Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  7. Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  8. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  9. Willingness to travel as required to meet clients, attend events, and pursue business opportunities.
